COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY
1. Shuttle Bus: All hand rail surfaces will be frequently wiped down and seats will be sprayed with disinfectant. All drivers and passengers must wear masks. When waiting for shuttle bus passengers must stand on markers placed on the ground that have been spaced at least 6 feet apart. Passengers shall board the bus one person at a time, maintaining a 6 feet distance while loading bus.
2. Lobby Area: All cashiers, employees must wear mask and gloves. All customers entering the lobby must wear a mask. The counters, and surface are wiped down after each customer interaction at the cashier/counter. There is a clear plastic divider for all cash register transactions to protect the customers and cashier. All customers must wait on the 6 ft floor markers for social distance. Our rest rooms are maintained, and surfaces wiped down with disinfectant multiple times a day. A thermometer is available to take temperature of staff and customers who request it.
3. Elevators & Stairs: We have 4 elevators. Two elevators in each building. The stairs are adjacent to the elevators. To avoid social contact there should be only one family or two individuals in the elevator at a time. Please avoid crowding in the elevator and wait for the next elevator for social distancing, or use the stairs if it’s convenient. The elevators are wiped down hourly and sprayed with disinfectant.
4. Valet: Drive your car to our designated valet stop with your mask on and the driver’s side window open. Our valet will greet all customers wearing a mask, while standing at the valet stand, in order to get customer’s info for the valet ticket, at a distance. Once we assume control of your vehicle we will wipe down your steering wheel, door handle, and gear shift, and place a protective cover over the driver’s seat area when the valet sits in your car. When you return text your ticket number when you arrive at the airport and your car will be waiting for you at the lobby. The driver’s side window will be open, and we will again, wipe down the steering wheel, gear shift, door handle, remove the protective seat cover, wipe down your keys, and leave you with an individually wrapped alcohol wipe.
5. Mobile App: The ParkSFO Mobile App is a safe and convenient way to self-park. Download the app; and create your user profile. An eticket is automatically generated with an entry QR code; scan the QR code at the mobile app kiosk at the entry gate, and the gate will open. Drive in and find a parking spot. When you return and are ready to exit, you open your eticket on your mobile phone; apply your coupon; make payment, and receive your QR code to scan at the exit; the gate will open after the scan and you can exit.
